By the 1990s the popularity of the internet spread worldwide. I have been surfing the net from about the early part of the nineties up until the present.

Who would have thought what an impact the internet would have on mankind. It has revolutionized the way we communicate with one another. There was a time when we communicated by International Call Lines, or telephone lines. It has really affected and touched people’s lives. In it’s early day’s it would have been an unrealistic and unattainable conception by anyone’s imagination.

Yes man has evolved this electronic system into a useful tool serving his needs.

With this wireless technology we can tap into countless scores of information at the touch of a button. We can peer into space or look at our planet from high above our stratosphere. We can collect data, send data, email instant messages, set up internet banking, and the lists goes on.

The internet is moving full-speed ahead at an incredible pace, and there is no sign of it slowing down.

Millions of people from all walks of life are constantly being connected via the internet 24/7. Many have formed long lasting friendships , especially between total strangers. It has created an environment where anyone can connect and communicate with their family and friends living on the other side of the world, without leaving the comfort of their home.

Electronic Information

Now we can go on, and on, all day and all night talking about this subject, but without going into all of the details though, the internet has served me a useful purpose. And that is to communicate my inner thoughts to anyone, anywhere in the world. What I enjoy the most is the exposure that this form of wireless technology has given us in the form of electronic information.

There is a vast amount of information out there for anyone person to digest, but to break it down to an interest or curiosity, then the information becomes more enjoyable and less time consuming to read.

Life Is An Experience

We have a hunger for information to improve our looks, to gain a degree online, to find a suitable employment, to do research on school topics, to find cyber-space friends apart from our real life friends, or to find social sites where family and friends can stay in touch with each other no matter where in the world you/or they are...etc

Although some prefer to travel to another country to experience a particular lifestyle in reality and take photos of places, I myself prefer to travel in cyberspace to any part of the world in order to experience other cultures, their language, their race, inter-mingle with them online through social sites, or through blogs...etc.

Real-Life Experiences

The amount of time taken to travel to another country of interest to enjoy the bonding with the locals and maybe learn a new language, explore hidden caves, climb the highest mountain or swim in the most perfect clear sky blue turquoise lagoon, is classed as an awesome real life exhilarating experience. And yet once you're there, the need to communicate your real life experiences to your family and friends is of course through the internet via email, or via other electronic means. Photos can be emailed, or faxed.

Mobile phones are being used constantly to connect to the internet these days, there is no need to take your laptop with you, or connect online from an Internet Cafe.

Communication In Reality

As important as the internet is for our daily interaction with family and friends, or to divulge in good information for research, it is also an important issue to promote an awareness to our young ones of the dangers of the internet and the amount of time spent online.

Parents have the responsibility to care for their young ones and use their valuable time with them. There are many healthy recreational activities to involve your young ones with, and spending precious times with them will prepare them for a solid future.

The internet is a tool to be used in comfort, not to be abused to bring discomfort.

Life is too shortl.

Conclusion

The internet has really changed the way man lives his life. But don't allow it to take control of your precious moments. Spare some time for recreation, family, and friends. Life is so precious, we only have one chance to live it.

Quote "Teach a man to fish and he will feed his family for life"

Copyright © 2008-2010 Jesse Evans

To Be Rich Or Not To Be Rich

Which One Are You?

Oh how thee desireth towards richness and wealthness. Oh how thine inner voices persueth emptiness. To be or not to be rich? That is the question.

In today's world, there are two classes of societies. The rich and the poor. I am a witness to these written words.

The man in the street is penniless. The man in the mansion has much. Of these two, who do you think will fare off better when they are both robbed of their most valuable possessions? Who do you think will fare off better when a natural disaster strikes? Both require security. Both have similar needs when water, air, land, clothes, food, sleep are taken into consideration. One maybe rich and the other poor, but the basic needs are the same. One is sure to be better off than the other, but when it comes to those basic needs, both can not live without them.

So where do we draw the line as to the definition of being rich or poor?

If a man can feed his family, put a roof over their heads and clothe them, and has sufficient supply to last his family until the next pay check, would you class this man as being poor? If a man can only feed his family with rice three days of the week, would you class this man as being poor also?

What is your own definition of the rich and the poor?

Many started life in a poor family. Some became rich because they had a vision. Then there are those born into wealthy families. Some rich and famous celebrities became penniless at the end of their lives. These two societies have lived side by side for centuries. The rich looks down on the poor, the poor despises the rich.

If you are poor but consider yourself a happy person then you are rich. If on the other hand you are rich but feel unhappy about your life then learn how to give, and then you will be happy. Giving of your precious time to your family is healing. Giving of your resources to the poor brings more happiness than keeping it to yourself, which is greed.

I am someone who is content with what I have, especially having the basic needs. I am happy just as I am. Are you?

Copyright © 2008-2010 Jesse Evans
